Client Access & Credentials Policy
Jpetrous Creative Services LLC (“JpCS”)
Last Updated: October 28, 2026
How we ask for access to your accounts, how we handle it while we have it, how we give it back, and what we ask of you in return. This policy supplements the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
This policy applies any time an engagement requires JpCS to work inside an account that belongs to you — a website content management system, a social media page, an advertising account, a business listing, an analytics property, a domain registrar, an email platform, or anything similar.
We request the narrowest role that allows the work to be completed, not administrator access by default. In practice that usually looks like:
If the work genuinely requires broader access, we will say why before asking for it. If you would rather keep a step in-house and have us hand off the file instead, that is almost always workable.
Accounts that represent your business stay in your name. We work inside them as an invited collaborator. We do not create your advertising account, business listing, domain registration, or analytics property under a JpCS account and then rent it back to you, and we do not hold your business hostage to our own login.
Where you ask us to create a new account on your behalf — which is sometimes the practical way to start — it is created in your name, with you as the owner, and transferred to your control as part of delivery.
Wherever a platform supports it, we ask to be invited by email rather than given a password. Invitation-based access can be revoked by you at any time, in one click, without changing anything else, and it leaves a record of who did what.
Some older platforms have no concept of a second user. Where a shared password is genuinely the only route:
We will not ask you to turn off two-factor authentication to make our work easier. Where a platform requires a second factor, we ask to be added as our own user with our own device, so that your codes stay on your phone.
Recovery codes and backup methods are yours to hold. We will not ask you to forward them to us, and we recommend you store them somewhere you can reach them without us.
We do not need and will not ask for:
If you ever receive a request for any of the above claiming to come from JpCS, treat it as fraudulent and call (586) 563-6634 to confirm.
Access is used for the work described in your quote or Service Agreement, and nothing else. We do not browse your customer records, download your contact lists for our own use, change settings outside the scope of the work, or publish anything to your accounts that has not been agreed. Where an engagement includes scheduling or publishing, what gets published is governed by the agreed content plan.
Where a specialist is brought in, they are given the same narrow access under the same obligations, and they do not pass it on. We can tell you who has access to what at any point — just ask.
When a project closes or an ongoing engagement ends, within ten business days we will:
Where we are removed before that, nothing is held back on account of an open invoice except the deliverables described in Section 7.1 of the Terms and Conditions. Your access to your own accounts is never used as leverage.
Where an agency, marketing firm, or consultant engages us and supplies access to an end client’s accounts, the Partner is responsible for confirming it has authority to grant that access. We treat those credentials exactly as described above, and we do not contact the end client directly unless the Partner authorizes it in writing.
If you see activity in one of your accounts you do not recognize and think it may be ours, contact us. We will tell you what we accessed and when, to the extent the platform records it, and help you work out whether the activity was ours or not.
Credentials are deleted from our password manager when the engagement ends. Project files and deliverables are retained as described in the Privacy Policy. We may keep a record of which accounts we held access to and the dates, which is kept so that questions like the one in Section 12 can be answered honestly.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, indicated by the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes affecting an active engagement will be communicated directly.
